My name is Sharon Byker. I grew up near Clara City, MN, and graduated from Central Minnesota Christian School in Prinsburg. I attended Dordt College and graduated with a BA in elementary education. I am married to Dan Byker and mom to four children. ICS was my first teaching position. After taking some time off to start our family, I came back to Ireton to work as the librarian and as an aide to many grade levels. I teach at ICS because I feel called to share my love of reading and books to the students who attend here.
The mission of the Ireton Christian School is to develop knowledge and understanding in each of God's children so they can effectively relate to God, to others, and to creation.
