AUXILIARY KICK-OFF!

You are Invited to the Ladies Auxiliary Evening Luncheon On Monday,

September 25, 2017, at 6:30 pm in the Ireton Christian School All

Purpose Room.  The Ireton Auxiliary is hosting their annual kick off

with an evening of food, fellowship, and FUN!  Returning ICS Moms are

asked to bring a salad.  Teachers do not need to bring anything, just

come and enjoy!  Moms, grandmas, aunts, and anyone who has a passion for our covenant children are invited to enjoy this time of fellowship.  For

our fun activity, we will all be creating a Chalkboard  Days Until

TRIP NEWS

Upcoming order dates are: October 9, October 30, November 13, November 27, December 11

 TRIP questions can be answered by Donna or Nicki at school on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday from 8:30 – 2:00.

TRIP Order form can be printed off the school website if you need one.

Orders need to be in the TRIP box in the school office or given to Donna Koopmans by 8:30 AM on order dates in your family envelopeNo late orders will be taken. Do not fax or call orders to my house – money needs to accompany orders or they will not be processed. Please try to remind your child to bring the order to their teacher or the office right away when they get to school, so that orders will not be forgotten or late.

 

OPERATION CHRISTMAS SHOEBOXES

We will be doing Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes again this year in November.  Now is a great time to start buying school supplies while they are cheap.  If you have questions, please ask Tammy Sieck.  Thanks!

 

CADETS

Kickoff for cadets will be September 27. We will be going to the Maze on 23rd from 6:30 to 8:00! Hawarden boys can meet us at the teen center parking lot. All others meet at the cadet shed at 6:15. We will be back in Ireton at 8:15. Hawarden boys can be picked up at the teen center parking lot at 8:00. No money required! Come and enjoy a fun night! 

All boys in the 4th – 8th grade are invited to be in Cadets.  We also now have a faebook page…Ireton Cadet Club.  Be sure to “like” it to see what’s going on.

100th Anniversary Items for Sale…

Stop by the school office and pick-up any of the 100th anniversary souvenirs.  We have history books ($15), sweatshirt blankets ($25), stainless steel tumblers ($15), coffee mug ($10), DVD’s ($10), and magnets.  (Good deal on a bundle…1 of each item for $70 total). Stop by the school office anytime during school hours to purchase any of these items.

 

WEST BUS ROUTE…

With harvest approaching, school will be out of a bus driver for the west bus route.  We want parents to be aware that there might be days when we will be notifying you that other arrangements must be made for you to get your child(ren) to school and picked up.  So, please start planning accordingly with car pools, etc.  Thank you in advance for being so understanding.  If you know of anyone who is interested in driving bus, please let Marlin know.
