PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES

This year we are only going to have one night of Parent Teacher Conferences on Tuesday, November 5.  The schedule will be tight, so please make sure you are on time.  The schedule is attached to this note. 

  

REPORT CARD SURVEY

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOX

The time is coming closer to pack the shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.  We will be packing the boxes for our November chapel activity which is the week of November 11.  More information was attached to last week’s note.

Thank you to some generous donors we were given a brand new refrigerator and were able to purchase a brand new upright freezer!  Our school continues to be blessed by many wonderful families and supporters!

 

FESTIVAL OF TREES

Festival of Trees will be held on November 22 and 23 in the ICS Gym. If you are interested in participating with a themed tree or wreath (which will be put on silent auction), please contact a committee member for more information. BUS ISSUE:

Parents please discuss the importance of staying seated on bus at all times and addressing other students in a respectful and loving manner at all times. This will be greatly appreciated. Policy states that student(s) will not be allowed to ride the bus until the issue is resolved.

BAND STUDENTS/PARENTS

Band and lessons will be scheduled every Tuesday AND Thursday. Please remember your instruments and music each Tuesday and Thursday.

 

TRIP NEWS

Upcoming Order Dates are:  October 28, November 18, December 9.

TRIP Order forms can be printed off the school website if you need one.  Orders need to be in the TRIP box in the school office or given to Donna Koopmans by 8:00 AM on order dates in your family envelope.  No late orders will be taken.  Do not fax or call orders to my house – money needs to accompany orders or they will not be processed.  Please try to remind your child to bring their orders to the office as soon as they get to school, so that orders will not be forgotten or late.
