BAKE SALE TIME!!
It’s time for the annual fall bake sale. We will be having the bake sale along with the Ladies Expo. We are asking each family to bring at least 3 items to sell – more is welcomed. Please have items labeled and priced. The list below is a good suggestion, but if you have more/different items to bring please feel free. Please have your items to school before Saturday, November 11 by 8 AM. Pricing information is on the back side of this note.

BUTTER BRAID FUNDRAISER
Kids of the Kingdom Preschool is excited to once again offer Butter Braids as a fundraiser! Flavors for $12 each are Cinnamon, Blueberry Cream Cheese, Strawberry Cream Cheese, Apple, Cherry, Raspberry, and Caramel Rolls. Please contact a KOK parent or Mrs. Stina if you would like to order some. Orders are due on 11/29/17 with delivery on 12/15/17. Stock up before Christmas!

LADIES EXPO AND BAKE SALE
Join us for Ireton Christian School’s 8th annual Ladies Expo on Saturday, November 11 from 9am-12pm. We will have breakfast, bake sale, raffle items, and lots of great new and returning vendors! Bring your friends and family! Free Admission.
Ireton Christian school will be hosting a soup supper on December 18. Serving from 5-7pm at the gym. Soups: chili, potato, chicken. Taverns, coneys and hotdogs. Pies , desserts and ice cream. Free will donation. Work and Food List will come home later.
Jr. High Des Moines Trip
We are planning on Thursday, May 3 to go on our Jr. High Des Moines Trip. Each student will need to raise $40-45 for the trip. This includes fee for Living History Farms and 2 meals. We encourage students to do jobs to earn money instead of parents paying for it. Ideas include…bake sale, raking leaves, helping grandparents.
Upcoming order dates are: November 13, November 27, December 11
TRIP questions can be answered by Donna or Nicki at school on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday from 8:30 – 2:00.
TRIP Order form can be printed off the school website if you need one.
Orders need to be in the TRIP box in the school office or given to Donna Koopmans by 8:30 AM on order dates in your family envelope. No late orders will be taken. Do not fax or call orders to my house – money needs to accompany orders or they will not be processed. Please try to remind your child to bring the order to their teacher or the office right away when they get to school, so that orders will not be forgotten or late.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS SHOEBOXES
The time is coming closer to pack the shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. We will be packing the boxes for our November chapel activity which is November 17. I have ordered material that will explain how to pack a shoebox and what to put in it but for now here are a few things we will need……
