CHRISTMAS DONATIONSfrom school will be for Family Crisis Center (cash donations only). This is in lieu of exchanging gifts between students, we feel we have many blessings already and therefore want to be people with “giving hearts”.

TRIP NEWS:

Upcoming Order Dates:  January 12, February 2, February 23, March 16, April 7 (Tuesday), April 27, May 18.

We are going back to every 3 week order schedule for the remaining school year.

TRIP will be available in the office on Monday 8:15-2:00, Wednesday 8:15-3:00, and Friday 8:15-2:00.

TEAM TEN NAPELhas the 2015 “God’s Creation” calendars in. Please call Susan Ten Napel (278-2520) if you are interested in purchasing one.

All profits will go to “Relay for Life” 2015. Each calendar sells for $8.00.

BAKE SALE! BAKE SALE!

We will be having the final bake sale for the year along with the Soup Supper. We are asking each family to bring at least 3 items to sell – more is welcomed.

Please have items labeled and priced.

The list below is a good suggestion but if you have more/different items to bring please feel free.

Please have your items to school by 4 pm on Monday January 5.

$ 7 per dozen cookies-depending on type of cookie

$ 5 half dozen bars, $8-10 full pan

$ 5-10 cakes- bundt, angel food,layered, decorated

$ 2 popcorn balls, carmel apples

$ 6-8 for lg bread(white, wheat, banana, lemon/poppyseed, pumpkin)

$ 3-5 for mini breads

$ 6-8 gal. size snack mixes

$ 3 for quart size snack mixes

$ 5 for half dozen muffins

$ 8-12 for pies-fruit,cream,fresh,frozen

$ 5-7 per dozen speciality candies or cookies

Other suggestions:

$ 5 canned jams,pickles,salsa, meat

$5-7 quarts of canned soup

$ 3-5 cookie/bar in a jar mix, hot chocolate mix

$ 15-25 for full frozen meals, or soups

 

 

Reading Rodeo:

Kindergarten – 15 minutes/day

1st & 2nd Grade – 20 minutes/day

3rd & 4th Grade – 25 minutes/day

5th & 8th Grade – 30 minutes/day

  • Please encourages your child to read each day
  • May read books, newspapers, magazines, etc. outside of class time
  • Students who reach the goal for the month will receive a certificate for a FREE personal pan pizza at Pizza Ranch
  • This begins in October and goes through April
