MEMORIAL DAY PANCAKE BREAKFAST

You are invited to the Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast at Ireton Ballpark shelter house on Monday, May 29 from 7 am – 10 am.  Pancakes, eggs, and sausage will be served.  Sponsored by Ireton CRC Christian Ed.

Reminder:  Please turn in school basketball and soccer jerseys as soon as possible!

Upcoming order dates are: June 5, June 26, July 24,

August 22 (first day of school)

 TRIP questions can be answered by Donna or Nicki at school on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday from 8:30 – 2:00.

TRIP Order form can be printed off the school website if you need one.

Summer Order Dates

Orders will need to be mailed to: Donna Koopmans, 2324 480th ST., Ireton, IA 51027 or put in Donna’s church (Ireton CRC) mailbox by 7:00 the Sunday night before.  If you are mailing an order please make sure to mail it early enough. Please do not try to leave orders at school this summer because I will not be stopping there. Arrangements will need to be made for you to pick up your TRIP at the end of these weeks.

 TULIP FESTIVAL FLOAT INFO:

If parents want to pick-up their children after the parade, they may meet the float at our “parking spot” on 3rd Street (Float #48).  But, please be there immediately or your child will ride the bus back to school.

WEAR CHAPEL SHIRTS ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY!

(FOR FLOAT RIDING AND CHAPEL)

 

All library books will be due on May 19.

There will be a summer reading challenge coming out next week.  Reading during the summer will keep their reading skills sharp as well as give them an opportunity to earn prizes when they bring back the sheet in the fall.  There will also be a table of discarded books at the school picnic.  Students will be allowed to take one (or more) to add to their personal reading shelf at home.

 

Boxtops for Education & Pizza Ranch Wagon Wheels. Please turn in any BOXTOPS  ( trimmed & in groups of 50 is helpful) and WAGON WHEELS by Monday, May 22 thanks!

 

Tulip Festival Float:

We are planning on K-4th Grade riding the float on Thursday at the 2:00 parade and Preschool, 5th – 8th Grade riding the float on Friday at the 2:00 parade.  We will be taking a bus with the children both afternoons to Orange City and back, so parents are not required to attend the afternoon parades.  We are asking for families to volunteer to come and have their children ride the float for the 6:00 parade on Thursday evening and Friday evening.
