Accelerated Reader Information:
Accelerated Reader is an online program we use for grades 3-8. Each grade has a different amount of points needed each quarter. These are put on each grade’s weekly note. Students are only allowed to take these quizzes at school. But parents can login at home and check their child’s progress. On the Ireton Christian school website on the homepage under the “helpful to you” section, there is a link called ” AR Home Connect”. Parents can login with the child’s login they use at school and view their progress, which books they’ve taken quizzes on (the bookshelf), and also which books are available to take quizzes on and how many points it is worth (AR Book Finder…bottom right corner). If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher.
