FRIDAY, August 26 – Tavern, pork & beans, carrots, bun, fruit

MONDAY, August 29 – Spaghetti, green beans, bread sticks, pears

TUESDAY, August 30 – Fish patty, pork & beans, mandarin orange, brownie

WEDNESDAY, August 31 – Hot dog, mac & cheese, corn, peaches

 

 

Reminder to turn in Hot lunch and NICSTO application to the school office before September 2.

 

Reminder: Athletic physicals are needed for all students participating in sports. Please send to school as soon as possible.

ROOM MOMS

Thanks to all the moms who signed up this year to be room mothers. We appreciate everyone’s willingness to help out. Remember the Rally Day sale is coming up soon and room moms are in charge of getting the classroom theme basket idea ready. Here is the list of the room moms for this year. We do only have 1 mom yet in 1st & 2nd and 5th & 6th, so if you would like to help out in those grades please let either Mandy Bonnema (441-4751) or the office know as soon as possible. PANCAKE BREAKFAST

You are invited to the Hawarden Community Center on Monday,

September 5 for a pancake breakfast put on by the Hawarden Christian Education Unit. Serving will be from 7:30 – 10:00 AM. The menu includes eggs, sausage and pancakes. Cost is adult $8.00, children 5-12 years old $5.00, and under 5 year old are free.

TRIP NEWS

Upcoming order dates are: September 12, October 10, October 31, November 14, November 28, December 12.

Orders need to be in the TRIP box in the school office or given to Donna Koopmans by 8:30 AM on order dates in your family envelope. No late orders will be taken. Do not fax or call orders to my house – money needs to accompany orders or they will not be processed. Please try to remind your child to bring the order to their teacher or the office right away when they get to school, so that orders will not be forgotten or late.
